Sergio Peresson

Sergio Peresson was born in 1913, in Italy. He realized his first violin in 1943. Soon after he moved to Venezuela. After moving there his main activity was related to the reparation of the old musical instrument belonging to the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra.

In 1963, he moved to Philadelphia and was hired by William Moennig. In his workshop he learnt how to reproduce the best instruments and even to give them some fashion related features.

In 1982 he stopped taking orders from different clients as he was unable to realize them all: there was a waiting list of 180 musicians who ordered instruments from him.

Sergio Peresson s-a nascut in 1913, in Italia. A realizat prima sa vioara in 1943. Putin dupa acest eveniment, el s-a mutat in Venezuela. Dupa mutare, principala sa activitate a fost legata de repararea vechilor instrumente muzicale apartinand Orchestrei Simfonice din Venezuela.

In 1963, s-a mutat in Philadelphia si a fost angajat de catre William Moennig. In atelierul sau acesta a invatat cum sa reproduca cele mai bune instrumente si sa le dea noi caracteristici referitoare la elemente de modernitate.

In 1982 a incetat sa mai accepte comenzi de la diferiti clienti pentru ca nu mai avea posibilitatea sa le realizeze: el avea o lista de asteptare compusa din 180 de muzicieni care au comandat instrumente de la el.
