Antonio Vivaldi

He was born in 1678. For most of you, maybe this is the most famous violinist among those that we have already presented. He was Corelli’s  student for 25 years and his main competitor as well.

His work was brought back to attention by Fritz Kreisler and Alfred Casella during the 20th century. Together with Bach and Handel, he is one of the most famous Baroque composers.

His most known work is of course ”The four seasons”, a composition that truly exposes by the help of the music and the violin the changes of each season. He died in 1741 and nowadays we only have three portraits of him and a huge musical treasure.

S-a nascut in anul 1678. Pentru cei mai multi dintre dumneavoastra, probabilel este celmai cunoscut dintre violonistii deja prezentati. El a fost studentul lui Corelli timp de 25 de ani si principalul sau competitor.

Munca sa a fost readusa in atentia publicului de catre Fritz Kreisler si Alfres Casella in secolul XX. Impreuna cu Bach si Handel, el este unul dintre cei mai faimosi compozitori ai Barocului.

Cea mai cunoscuta lucrare a sa este bineinteles”Cele patru anotimpuri”, o compozitie care expune cu adevarat prin intermediul muzicii si a viorii schimbarile aparute in fiecare anotimp. A murit in 1741 si astazi mai exista doar 3 portrete ale sale si a imensa comoara muzicala.
