Ole Bull
Ole Bull was born in 1810, in Norway. He was one of the most famous violinists of Europe at the time and he shared many concerts with musicians as Franz Lizts, Clara & Robert Schumann or Felix Mendelssohn.
At that time, without any other distractions, the public went often to listen to musicians during the day, as the TV programme began only at 7:00 pm. So, starting noon, many of them were going to the special places designed for the shows and they were listening to music. As for a violinist is hard to perform 6 hours continuously, the violinists made trips and they were singing together with other musicians in different cities.
Robert and Clara Schumann used to say that Ole’s technique was perfect and no matter how fast the music was going on, he never missed a note. He died in 1880.
Ole Bull s-a nascut in 1810, in Norvegia.
In vremea aceea, fara nici o alta forma de entertainment, publicul mergea adesea sa asculte muzicienii in timpul zilei, dat fiind faptul ca programul TV incepea la ora 19:00. Asadar, incepand cu amiaza, multi dintre oameni mergeau in locuri special amenajate pentru show si ascultau muzica.
A murit in anul 1880.
